Density of rational points near/on compact manifolds with certain curvature conditions

Abstract: In this talk I will explain my work with Damaris Schindler where we obtain an asymptotic formula for the number of rational points near submanifolds of $\mathbb{R}^n$ with certain curvature conditions, and what we can say about the number of rational points on them.
